First off, you need to understand what you consider 'rich'. If your definition rests entirely on things, assets, cash and investment portfolios, etc., I think you are missing the boat. In any case, that is entirely a personal definition. I am financially secure and comfortable. I no longer work for wages...I don't 'need' to. However, I spend quite a bit of time doing volunteer activities in my community. And, I provide tuition assistance to college for deserving people who otherwise could not attend. Those activities make me much 'richer' than a 20% gain in my investment portfolio. Good luck on your life's journey. And, when you are able, reach back and help someone to get where you are. |

You may get many responses for your question but
the important thing to understand is that,
no matter rich or poor,
one should also keep oneself busy by one way
or the other. It is very important for one's health and
well-being and more importantly for one's peace of mind.
An idle person gets older sooner and an older idle
person gets sick soon.
Remember that health is the true wealth,
everything else comes after that.
Being rich, there is no end or limit to it - contentment
is very important. Everybody cannot be one of the top ten.
A rich person, if not contented, is still not happy, whereas
a not so rich person, if contented, is happy.
One should try to live and enjoy the happy moments.
Money can buy many luxuries, so it is important too,
but at the same time, money cannot buy happiness
and contentment. It is within ourselves and we need to
find the same within ourselves. Money is something that
the more you get, the higher your desire to get further more.
