can you not combine both, their must be a happy medium, money is hard to get and harder to replace. check out how much you need to buy a home you would like, if you have enough to travel for awhile, rent the house while your away and you will have money when you return. please dont ruin this chance to make a good life for yourself, good luck. |

Depends on the amount.
I payed off the mortgage, and rented it out whilst wandering around the world for a year or so.
Returned to the the UK with a nice profit on the house sale.
Bought a narrowboat like the twit that I am. Oh and a land-locked much smaller house.
I now have only £100 spending money, but Gods, ir was fun ! |

In my current state buy a house, single with no kids, defiantly see the world. If I was left enough Id do both, and, buy a big huge, shiny Lexus. A life times supply of season tickets, Man U, oh yeah. An island all to my self, sun, sea, sand, palm trees. But of course top of the list would be to invest in the solution to world poverty. I should be rich, do ya see!? |
