You have $15 bucks left in the world... and can never get another penny...what would you buy?

After spending your 15, you'll be doomed to a life of absolute poverty.

First of all, with $15 I would buy some drinks/food from a street corner and start selling them at a higher price to attain a profit. As my money accumulates, I will start using the money to grab investment vehicles such as stocks, bonds and mutual funds.

So for example, let's say coke costs $2.00 for a pack of 6. I would sell each of them at $0.50 which would give me a profit of $1 per pack. After 100 packets sold (Let's say I sell 10 (The extra five dollars found on the floor) packs a day, so in 1 week and 3 days) I would have attained $100. As the business expands, my place of keeping the stock is limited. So I'd hire someone in my position (with $15 too) to sell 10 packets a day and he can get half of the profit sold from him. So altogether in 1 week and 3 days, I have $100 coming in via my business plus $50 from someone selling my coke too.

Roughly in a month, I'd have $600 (rough just to keep the figures simple) and I can use that to get certain stocks and investment vehicles. With that $600, let's say I place all of that money in a CD which yields me 6% annually. I'd have $90 coming in yearly (disregarding compounding). Not only that but I'd be free to do whatever I want because I'm not selling anything anymore and the other person is selling for me. I have attributed all the three laws of being rich:

- Have money work for you
- Never work for money
- Always have an investment vehicle (The Investment quadrant).

So let's say such things happen and I decide to sell just for the fun of it. When I'm 75 (and saying that I have not done more things with my money), I'd have $437,400. There is a lot of things you can do with $15. I'd use that money to buy a house and lease it. That will further push my money. Although this is good in theory, the only drawback is that I will have to sustain demand coke for 60 years!

Another drawback is that I have not assumed what my cost of eating will be. The reason I have left this out is so that the figures will not get bogged into mind-boggling decimals. However, I could keep these results true in nature if I decide to work for someone else for food. Or to further elaborate, there are some people here who will just spend their money on food. They are going to live a life of searching bins. I can make them work for me if I promise to half my food with them. If such happens, after 75 years I'd have 547,200

I would buy a knife, then I could rob people. Then I would jack a gun from a pawn shop. It is way easier to rob people with a gun than it is with a knife.

take the $15... and get 1500 pennies (go with this idea) look at the dates on each penny, chances are one or two have to be made before 1968;therefore, they're solid copper and worth more. Sell em' for a whopping total of 16.56. Take that 16.56 and buy an ab roller and a dollar bow tie. work on your six pack, put the bow around your neck, and shake what your mama gave ya. strip for your food and a little extra.

other than that... i dunno

packets of fruit and vegetable seeds, some potting mix and if I have enough left over.. some earth worms or a chicken. I would keep the worms in a 'farm' that I set up with icecrecream buckets so they can eat the food scraps and provide me with the fertilizer I need to sustain my fruit and veg plants. the chicken would also be able to eat any food scraps and provide fertilizer as well as eggs and it would control the bugs in the yard. I would then learn to live off the land as our ancestors did before modern technology and processed foods were introduced.

food- 2 minute noodles [cheap stuff]

i'd buy coconut trees and plant them so that i'll have food for the rest of my life.

my pen, I would probably buy what would make me feel good for at least a few hours ... cause stretching it out longer would make my life worse

oh god.. well i would say a puppy but i wouldnt be able to feed it!.. so maybe rock candy.. :p

Poverty is such a large word that is percieved differently by so many people. With 15$ I can by all that I need to survive for the rest of my life. Therefore, if I can provide myself with all of my basic nescesities, where do you see that I would be poor. I would actually be the richest man on this planet!

I would buy cigarettes and some sweets

use it in the stock market or put it in abank with good montly rate interest
