I would go to the nearest domestic violence shelter and give them the biggest donation they ever received and take any people that were there out to a very nice dinner. After that, everyone who went to dinner with me would get some cash to help them with a place to live and a vehicle. |

Get online and search for worthy charities. Make calls to those charities and make plans to donate much of the money to worthy causes. There are so many folks in need of food, clothing and other things, I couldn't bear keeping all the blessings to myself. I would also start looking for a good reliable car for my mom and dad, they have never had a new car and fix their roof, it is falling through. That is what I would do while waiting..... |

I would pay off my mortgage and also buy 2 more houses, one near me and another for my parents up north. And a farm house. I would buy 2 cars (an Aston Martin DB9) and a Toyota Land Cruiser. I would go on a holiday and then come back and work - I really would work. I would be bored without it, and have a great career path that I have not yet ventured far down.

Nothing. It would take at least that long to sink in.
Then, first thing Monday morning, I would start interviewing attorneys and accountants until I found those that would help me with this BEFORE I even claim my winnings.
There are actually experts out there that charge lots of money to help people in this situation. Their first piece of advice? Do NOTHING for 90 days. The excitement makes people make poor choices and it is unbelievable how many "big" winners end up bankrupt within 5 or 10 years. |
