The love of money - is really talking about the greed to accumulate wealth...which would be more important than the methods used in accumulatiung it or the uses you put it to.
So this greed can destroy relationships and also lead to illegal activities in the search of making investments that would increase the wealth more

well not all evil of course, some evil are caused by things other than money. but partly the love of money MAY be one root of evil. its just that it should be in the right context for us to say that money is indeed the root of some evil. |

What it means is that, people will do the craziest, most dangerous, and unheard of things for money. For example, all these reality shows on TV, you have to do absurd things to win the money. Eat this, Eat that, Lie to this person, Trick this person, not only that but robberies,whether its Bank, Home, or in a Grocery Store, its for the Money. Even alot of murders that happen today are often financially motivated. I hope that provides some clarity to your question. |
