Please contact me with the date and time that you would like to do a pre-move out inspection so that I can make necessary repairs or complete the cleaning required to receive a security deposit refund.

You keep the original and give them a copy then call to confirm that they received it. Document the name of the person who confirmed its receipt and the date and time you spoke to them on a seperate sheet of paper and clip it to the notice for later reference.
Do not only give verbal notice. This is business and could be very costly to you if you don't CYA. If you have a good relationship with your landlord then you can tell them in person at the same time that you hand them the letter. |

If you are intending to move out of your rented property and if according to the rent contract, it is mentioned there-in that you have to give a notice of vacating the premises 30 days prior to the date of vacating, you should do so by issuing a letter explaining the intention. |

Give your name, address and phone number and give your move out date. Remind the landlord that you want to be present for final walk thru to ensure that you get back as much of your security deposit as possible.
This is not the language to use if you're breaking a lease. |
