Why do you want your own apartment if you're married? Why do you need your mom's permission? If you're 19 and married, then YOU are responsible for your decisions.

Do you have enough money to have an apartment? I think there's something I'm missing in your question. Are you living with your mother? If so, why? Does your husband work? Unless you have enough money to pay the rent and utilities an apartment, you shouldn't have an apartment. If you are capable of making all those payments, I'm not sure why you don't just move and do it.

if you are married and financially independent. Your mother may have an opinion but what you and your husband decide to do is your business

As a mother of three grown daughters I have to say that you sound very immature.

Contratulations on the A+ report card. I think that when you have matured you will realize that begging, pouting and puppy eyes are a sign of immaturity.

Your mother is probably right. I take it that you are trying to get your parents to pay for this apartment or it wouldn't be an issue. Mature a little bit, keep your grades up and when you can afford your own place you won't feel the need to ask your parents permission.

you are an adult, look at the pros and cons, make a decision and ask your parents to respect it...

Please weigh the cost of relocating. First and last month rent, security deposit. Deposits for utilities. The vendors may run credit and how much credit experience does one have at 19?

Something to consider.

What are your mom's reason's ?

Instead of begging, pouting, and puppy dog eyes, try being rational, responsible, and mature. Why does she not think you should have your own apartment? Are her reasons valid? Are you financially capable? And if you are financially capable of being independent, why do you care what your mom thinks?

if you are married, mum should not have anything to do with your decision,it should be between you and your hubby.mum can give you advice, but the final decision is yours, hubby and the bank

If you are married it is absolutely reasonable that you have your own apartment, but it's also not reasonable to expect a parent to pay for it. As long as you and your husband can afford it, go for it, you're 19, you can do what you want.

your 19, you are married and you live with your parents, I say its time to move on. Your old enough to make your own decisions and you were old enough to make the decision to marry someone so why shouldn't you be able to live with this person. I would tell her what you are going to do and she will have to live with it, Sometimes parents don't like to hear that their children are growing up.

Well Elisha, at 19 you sound a little young still. This is not about report cards, begging or any such stuff. Adult responsibilities are in play. Ability to pay bills, manage your affairs with your husband. Make decisions and live with the results.

Have you sat and a reasonable discussion with your mother to understand why she does not support your moving out? Is she supporting you? Is your husband supporting you? If your goal is to move out, which is wonderful, you have things to plan for to make it happen. Then when you make it, you are good to go!

Good Luck!

It sounds like you are depending on your mom to give you the money to buy you a house or apartment or that she buy or pay your rent for an apartment for you. Why do you expect your mom to buy/pay for something so expensive?. What about your husband? Shouldn't you and your husband decide whether you can afford a house or apartment? Can you and your husband afford an apartment without help from your mom?

Are you living with your mom and are married too? Why are you trying to bribe your mom into agreeing with you by the baby eyes, etc.? Unless I am misinterpreting your question it sounds like you are a little immature and not a 19 year old adult. There are too many unanswered questions to give a good answer, but the way you phrase your question it sounds like your mom has a good reason not to agree with you.
