why wouldn't you. if you are trying to have someone use you to buy the biggest investment of their live you want them to trust you. if you don't have a picture, they may think you have something to hide. be open and honest. they will either come to you or not. good luck with you business.

I say "yes" too. If someone doesn't want to work with you based on color, than let them move on to someone else.

Let your qualifications as real estate agents speak for you.

ice_skaters_mom
Yes. I would think that the kind of mature, responsible people who will actually be able to close on a house, or have a decent house to sell with a realistic idea of how much to ask for it, are also for the most part going to be people who will choose their realtors for their qualifications. They didn't get to be in the position to own a home, as difficult as that is getting these days, by being ignorant or not conducting their business sensibly. I also think their might be a tendency for people who are ignorant enough to judge your personal business not to be all that educated all around and, once again, not all that great prospects for completing a sale anyway. I know that many people are poor and unable to buy a home because of circumstances; if I didn't have one already I could never afford to buy one now, but honestly I still have enough sense to hire professionals for how well I think they will do the job! Wouldn't you think people who can manage to get into the market now would be at least that smart?

No, it would be best to keep your pictures off of your cards and advertising. I too am in a interracial marriage but people are human and they judge us often by their own beliefs. Let the people see you in person as a couple. Then they will decide on whether they want to do business with you. This is just my opinion because you serve the public and run into all kinds of people and beliefs.

If you posted your pic you would likely gain more clients then you could potentially "scare" away as you will have the ability to draw from 2 different demographics of society...her race and yours. Be proud of how you are and who you love and all else falls in place.

Go for it. Some people may not agree with interracial marriage and those people may perfer not to use you but you don't need those small minded people anyway. If other couples in your area are putting their pictures on their real estate sights then go ahead.

Yes! Don't hide it, you should be proud of it! If people don't like it, then you are only missing out on doing business with bigots.

Depends on where you are located and who you want to immediately exclude from choosing you to handle their real estate transaction(s). A picture will definetly cause some to NOT want to use you as well as sway some TO use you. Would it not be better to let those who dislike interacial marriages make their choice without you having to deal with their "issue" personally? This would imply posting a picture and weeding out those whom you will not work well with, without having to waste your time on them.

I think it is your choice, not mine, and whether you want to make the decision based on moral issues or strictly business issues.

YES, don't be afraid of who you are, and who love. If some people can't see past color then your better off never meeting them.
