Yes. Zillow.com now has such a service.

You could also see what your local real estate brokers charge for a "MLS listing only" listing. For example, I charge $395 to list your home on the MLS. You're in charge of all communications and negotiations with the buyers.

Its funny that the real estate agents still use the same marketing gag - (Who Are You Going To Trust With Your Largest Asset?) First of all in many cases this is NOT the case. Secondly, YOU are the one responsible for having this Asset! As far as websites whether it be Zillow, Housebuz or Craigslist - they are all fine sites and nothing says you cant use all of them!

craiglist is the best.

My Favorites are Zillow and Housebuz

craigslist.com You should however, rely on representation in the form of a Realtor. They have the expertise, experience, in fact, this is what they do, represent the public in their buying and selling of homes. If you were being sued, you wouldn't try to represent your self you would hire a lawyer. If you had a tax problem you would hire an accountant. Then why would you try to sell the single largest asset you own by yourself. Find a good agent and remember, the commission is negotiable.

I have tried Zillow, Craigslist and various other ones - whether you have a good experience trying to sell yourself or with a realtor is a coin toss - i have had positive and negative experiences - we have also tried the housebuz.com site mentioned above which seems to have individuals selling their own homes and realtors marketing their properties so it doesnt seem biased one way or the other
