Why not get a mortgage - think of all the merit you will get when you show people around as an owner occupier.
Why do you want to buy a house? Is it an extra house?
What is wrong with a mortgage if you are as you say British and Self-employed with an 18 year history you should have no problem getting one.
If you diagree with the concept of a mortgage a Sharia mortgage gets around the moral issues. This is a big problem for people of all faiths and none, and several banks offer these mortgages where you pay rent instead of interest - they comply with Sharia law but are available to anyone. |

£200k is about right, I would be delighted to give you the money, But have you thought of the problems. The newspapers may want to know where you got the money from. And the neighbours will start to talk. (They have to work like hard for their mortgage and you will be living comfortably no sweat)
Why should a house be £200k - because there is a gross undersupply to the market - and the government needs to sort it out. 2 million homes would do it, we should have started 30 years ago. |
