Find the nearest womens shelter, they should be able to help you.

Start packing your belongings and go to a homeless shelter or a friend or family member's house. Good luck to you though and you should seriously stop having kids you can't afford.

You still have time to make an arrangement with the council to pay off your arrears. They would much rather do that than evict you- they will help you as much as possible. Contact www.shelter.org - go to their website and look up the number. Don't email because they take ages to get back and you need to start acting now. The council used to have a responsibility to house you even if they evict you silly as it sounds. You should be entitled to legal aid so you can also get a solicitor to help. Don't sit back and wait- you have to do this now for your kids.

This is unusual for the council to issue an eviction order and the bailiffs for a set date without giving you the opportunity to reduce your arrears.
I think there has been a period when the council have been writing to you saying that they will evict if you don't start reducing your rent arrears.
They will have gone to court and obtained a ' Possession Order'. This means they have the right to evict if you don't keep up with an agreement to pay off your arrears. They will accept a minimum of £3 a week.
If you failed to do this, they go back to court and are granted a full possession order, which is where you are now.
You can try speaking to a housing officer to try and suspend this order but I feel it is too late.
Councils do and will evict if you don't pay your rent. And you will be classed as ' intentionally homeless' and so they have no legal obligation to help you.
You can register as homeless but you will find that private landlords are your best bet for housing.
This situation could have been averted if you had contacted the council and paid a bit off your arrears each week.

The_Smak_Daddy_SMACK!!
That is public housing....I guess. Move in with family! You cant live on the steet with 3 kids. Do you have a job? if no Why? There has to be friends or family that will take you in!

If you are eligible, have you applied for governmental assistance for you and your family? If you are eligible and not already receiving any assistance, apply prior to relocating.

Whatever your decision about where you will temporarily or permanently relocate, do not pretend that your current situation will go away. It won't.

Once you are settled in a new location, financial counselling with specific attention to financial management of your net income (dollar amount you actually receive in your check) should be your first order of business. Some church organizations offer this service free of charge.

Best of success getting on your feet again.

Okay its a court order, the sheriffs will show up. If you are not gone they will break down your door and physically remove you. And charge you with trespassing. They will hire a moving company and move your stuff into storage. I have heard of them just dumping it in the yard.

You have to be out by the 14th. The only way is if you can catch up the owner for back fees but that doesnt mean he will still allow you to stay there. It might be he just needs you out because they have something else planned for it.

I would immediately start looking for a place to stay. And start packing. It might be easier to lease another house then to try an apt. Many people will understand your situtation.

Im sorry, But to the point you will have to move.

It all depends on how much you are in arrears , with your rent.

Go to your local CAB and explain to them , they are the best people to sort your problems out.

Take as much information as you can

Are you on benifits or do you pay your rent yourself

Just a tip , don't trust your Council

I was evicted years ago , and trusted my Council , as I did nothing wrong , as I was on housing benifit and the reason was non payment of rent , they are very quick to remind people to pay , but they don't worry what happens when they don't

If you need more help email me ,

If not I hope you get it sorted , good luck

Find somewhere else to live. If you don't have enough money for that, contact your local church and see if there is any way they can help you. When my Aunt became a single parent and had no place to go, she contacted her local church and they set her up in an apartment for a few months so she could save money to pay the bills herself.

hey there,
have you spoken to your housing officer, if you have one?
or have you written/ spoken to the council?

i understand that a letter from the county court means that you have to pay back the arrears, but if you have three kids, surely they would let you pay them some money back a month or a week....

in the case that you do get evicted, im sure they do temporary housing for families without a home but to try to avoid that, i would defineatly advise you to go down to your council and speak to them-
afterall, you have three kids who need a shelter,food..... id try and reason with them.

i hope i have helped you, good luck,
x-

Check with you local United Way or Salvation Army offices. They provide assistance for families in housing emergencies!
