You may want to rent a furnished room instead of an apartment. When I got divorced I moved into a motel. It didn't cost much, I had my room cleaned and I had a swimming pool plus they had a restaurant and bar. And long ago I rented some rooms out in someone's house. I had my own entrance and rooms and privacy and it was very cheap plus it was really cute and they kept it so very nice. I found all of these in the local paper. |

How tough it really is.Because the economy is bad,demand for rental
apartments grows,this causes rent to increase because more people that had homes can pay rent more than most can.No kidding
I am moving closer to work because 25 miles one way to work 250.00 a month for gas.Rent 700.00 for a room not a place for myself.A 1 bedroom in West Los Angeles is over 1300.00.I can't pay that.

Most builders have models that they use and follow but you can reduce the cost by requesting that they install laminate flooring instead of tile or less expensive cabinets or inexpensive fixtures. These are all ways to cut cost. Try it! |
