Well, it's not the right thing to do-- anything that is considered a fixed component to the house is supposed to stay put-- toilets, furnace, faucets etc. if you had sentimental feelings toward a light fixture or lockset or something small you could replace it with some other type-- the lender is not going to notice you replaced your $200 kitchen faucet with a $40 home depot special-- but they will notice holes in the sink without a faucet-- what will happens when the bank goes to sell the property without a kitchen, the price will reflect that-- which means the deficiency balance will be more-- they will probably come after you for that ( depends on state law)- if your doing it out of spite, its really not worth it-- |

I have looked at many forclosures and have never seen one without the cabinets. I do find that in most cases all appliances have been taken before hand though. Sorry I can't help more. |

The lender could and probably would let law enforcement know. You could be charged with destruction of property and theft. |

i looked at a house the other day, they took everything... The only thing in the place was concrete and drywall punched full of holes.
made me think they needed material to build another house. Hard to really prove if the homeowner or a vandal did the damages and stole everything |
