You must have bought one of those books with fairy tale stories in it.Maybe hurricane ravaged Florida or one of the flooded out states,you might find a distressed property for ten thousand.You can purchase at auction for possibly 30 to 50 percent below the value of a year ago to be realistic plus 10 percent of the purchase price for the auctioneer.When buying consider floods,tornados,fire hazards,hurricanes ,what will my repair cost be and can I really make money,etc. Good luck to you |

I was at the CountryWide foreclosure listings and saw houses for $1000!!! I guess in some places a car is worth more than a house. The listings were in Michigan though, but you might see some deals. |

If your looking for a house under 10k, try a farm town in Kansas. Seriously. Houses there can run from 5k up to 300k. Just depends on size of town. Small town easy to find 10k houses. |

i use yahoo.com. go to the real estate link and put in 5,000 minumum and 10,000 max. i dont know what state u live in but i live in Michigan and there are a lot of properties for 10,000 or less. im looking for a real estate partner. send me an email if interested. |

most of the time a house for 10,000 or less has a lot of work that needs to be done to it. depending on where you live, houses are around 45,000 and up. for a ready to move in home. |
