Well you can find lots of houses that are in need of complete renovation in Scotland, not on the scale that you are looking for but most you would be able to get planning permission to make the properties larger. |

I have no idea where you are located, but the best place to find good values on "period" homes is New England.
If you use your web browser and seach for "Upstate NY Real Estate" "Vermont Real Estate" etc, you will find a lot of listings to look through. You should also check out eBay real estate.
None of them are going to be dirt cheap, but you can often find properties that will convert to Nice B&B's with some cash and elbow grease in the $250K range. |

Why do you need 7 bedrooms?...Do all these people have jobs?..ha!
Your best option, maybe, to add on or finish the basement of a 4 bedroom, making the rooms you need. Or move to another region where property is cheaper. Good luck & enjoy the house! |
