Ebay is perfecly safe, if you are sencible.
Unfortunatly you've taken a risk for some jeans, as the seller has no history you know nothing about this person and they could do anything.
As regards to a previous post you DO NOT need to go through with this, you can still back down, if you feel unsure.
How much are the jeans? If there not that much then they propably won't intentionaly scam you.
My advice!!!
Could you collect? try emailing the seller, but dont send money, stick with paypal, opt for postal insurance and insist on proof of postage.
Then everything should be ok.
Hope that helped |

You should be fine as long as you pay through paypal with a credit card. I won't suggest you pay by e-check because just in case you never receive your item. It will be easier to file a dispute with a credit card. It's too late to think about the risk since you have already won the item. I am sure most of the sellers are honest in ebay. Good luck to you! |

It should be fine, Always check the ratings before buying/selling I sold something on ebay, a week later the person who won them claimbed her money back through p/pal which they did give her reason? someone used her account what a load of bullshit! then 3 month later I got a letter off ebay, not to send the item!!!! bit bloody late I sent it next day.
Always ask for recorded delivery so they cannot claim your money not send it then say it is lost in the post what a lot of sellers are doing so you are down the money & the goods.
If you are not to sure about buying them just email the person saying due to unforeseen cercumstances you cannot pay for the goods. break in stolen car what ever & they will pass your item onto the next bidder.
But yes it does seem odd that they have never sold or won anything since 2005 |

Perhaps he has been a member since 2005 but not sold anything. I havnt sold anything yet and i have been a member since then.
eBay is a huge risk, but also you can find great bargins at a fraction of the high street price. You have already bought them so you can't get out of it. Try sending them an e-mail and get communication going between seller and buyer. |

the time to ask questions and read feedback is before bidding
you now have the choice to pay or not pay
not paying may mean negative feedback and an unpaid item strike
you may find that option cheaper but only you can decide |

Everyone has to start somewhere I guess.
It may just be that they joined up and then never 'got into it', or maybe they got burned first time around?
We buy and sell on e-bay regularly and it's always a fingers crossed when you buy some thing-regardless of the feedback scores! That said, we've been really lucky so far and only been nipped (it would be unfair to say bitten) once.
Pay via paypal so that you're protected and if you can't do that then send a bankers draft or cheque so you can trace it in the event of a problem.
We have friends who have only bought once and sold once in the last 2 years but they bought a car and sold a pram-two big items, with no problems.
If you've bid and won though then you're going to have to pay up and keep everything crossed regardless.
Good luck! |

you have to buy them now! and does anyone know if you can buy new gas stoves from ebay |

For the person before, I think that you can buy anything on eBay but the shipping makes certain things (like gas stoves) cost prohibitive. As for the jeans, if it isn't too much I would just go through with the transaction. Hopefully it is a new seller and he or she will want to get positive feedback.
Good luck. |
