not sure if its a state law, but the last hourly job i had in california if they sent you home even after 5-10 minutes you were entitled to a 1/2 days pay. |

thats one of the dumbest laws I have ever heard of.
Do the employees also get to share in the loss of revenue? Of course not and thats why people who are never in management have a hard time understanding the simple fact that your employer settles up with you every paycheck.
Why should anyone get to be part of the plus and never have to worry about the negative? And dont talk about golden parachutes, thats .001% of the working world. |

If you are an hourly employee, you should get paid those 4 hrs by law.
If you are a full time employee, you still should get paid. |
