Can afelon be a realtor?

Searchlight Crusade
You mean a real estate agent; a Realtor is a registered trademark of a trade organization. Membership is not mandatory.

It depends upon the felony, how long ago it was, and the discretion of the state agency. If they're forty and got busted when they were fourteen for selling marijuana, I suspect that most states wouldn't think that was a problem. If they just got out of prison on their third fraud conviction, I kind of think that would be a problem.

Joanie B
I doubt it.

Check with your state.

"A criminal background check must be submitted with your application to the North Carolina Real Estate Commission to obtain a license. Pleas call the commission's legal department at 919-875-3700 to review your situation
Bill Gallagher 6/12/06"

no. anything finnance related or dealing with peoples money, you have no chance.

no, a felon cannot be licensed in real estate sales as either a sales agent or broker, and it does not matter what type of felony

many should certainly be convicted!

I will preface my answer by disclosing that I am a licensed Realtor® in the state of Arizona.

You will need to check the laws in your state. In Arizona, if you have been convicted of a misdemeanor or a felony, your application is placed in front of a review board, along with the details of your crime and a statement from you about it. If you have been convicted of any sort of fraud I tend to believe that your outlook for a real estate license is bleak.

Good luck!

The real question is: "Is 'afelon' a word?"
