Can i afford an apartment?
Can i afford apartment on 8.00 dollars an hour ? full time i live in mn 2
most likely if you work an 8 dollar an hour job.....its not that stable..so i would recommend staying wherever you are at...and saving up money for as long as you are there. Hopefully thats a good living situation where you are already at
You asked... I answered
If you work 40 hrs a week and get paid $8.00 an hour your gross pay would be $320.00 a week. Factor taxes, insurance etc and you are probably closer to $240.00 a week.
$240.00 a week x 4 weeks in a month = $960.00 a month
Here is what you should figure for bills (approximately)
$100 for electric (this can fluctuate greatly with the seasons)
$70 TV/Internet
$xxx rent
I didn't include water or trash because some apartments include that with rent. You might luck out and be able to find one that includes electricity or internet, but those aren't as common. Have you considered getting a roommate? That would probably help. You can split everything 50/50.
Max
you can, if u have around 1500 dollars for rent

No, unless you want to live in a roach infested hell hole. You could get a roomate or roomates and pool your resources.

if you have to ask, then probably not. If in doubt, don't do it. That is how you will eventually get evicted

in california you would not be able to afford an apartment with that pay
rent out here is like 1400 - 2000 for an apartment
