Believe it or not, you can buy a house after only of 1 day of bankruptcy... there are some strings... downpayment and interest rate and fees... all of these will be high.
It is especially bad to file BK and then have bad credit after the BK. Try hard to only to manage your cash flow and pay on time. Slowly try to reestablish your credit and wait wait wait. You will get there.

Yes you can, even after one day after discharge.
There are lenders out there that will give you a loan for a home, even up to 100%. But the rates will be high, estimate about 14% and up.

Yes, you can qualify for 100% financing as early as one day after discharge. For conventional (Fannie Mae) loans, the discharge will have to be at least two years old for a Chapter 7 BK, and the file date over two years old for a Ch 13 BK.
