You would be able to get a loan at 18 and even then it would be difficult for lenders to offer a loan because of the simple fact that you havent established a credit history! Once you grow up you will learn about these things! But for now enjoy your teenage years to the fullest! |

I don't know if you can at 16, but the place you may be trying to rent from won't look at the loan as prof of income. They will be looking at what you have coming in like, wages from a job, social security, any type of support, and so forth. A lot of times, your total income has to be at least double to triple the amount of the rent. Also, there is a law stating how many people can live in an apartment or house. If it is a one bedroom, than it is 1-2 occupancy, two bedroom 1-4 occupancy, and so forth. Good luck. |
