Did you really NOT know the answer to this question?

Anyone can get evicted from anywhere if they don't pay their bills.

pure1simply
yes. It depends on what she's done tho to get evicted. If it is non payment of rent and she is attempting to resolve this in a mutually agreeable way. I don't think they will...however, they can. Depends on track record and land lord etc

Depends on the State u live in too. In the middle of winter in the colder parts of the USA, they can not turn of utilities if there is an infant or young child in the home.

Judy1
Yup, for not paying the rent, or for breaking the rules.

depends on the circumstances of eviction whether you can lose your home or not .

Yes, if she doesn't pay the rent. Landlords don't care if someone is a single parent or not. Pay up or get out is their motto.

Yes, you can, depending on the reason. Because I don't have much info from you, you may want to contact legal aid and if you income qualify, they will represent you free of charge.

Also, you can look on line and find the housing authority in your state and they have free advocates that can assist you. Some low income housing developments are appointed by the Governor of each state and they will make an effort to get your issues resolved.

Whatever you do, do it soon because the longer you wait the quicker they can evict you. Good luck girl!!

If this is you best answer please vote for me!!

Anyone can get evicted from an apt, no matter if it is low income housing, if the rent is not paid, illegal activity in the home, any legitimate reason given for a landlord to evict. If this happens, the person may not be able to get low income housing in the future, so best bet is to make those payments! You were given an opportunity based on your needs, don't lose it

Sure why would you be any different than anyone else, because your a single mother? What does that have to do with anything? If you don't pay your rent or pay late, you make too much noise, deal drugs, having boyfriend living there and not on lease, the list goes on. Just because you are a single mon does not make you special or exempt from the lease or law.
