chocolate | Can it ever be a success living with your landlord??? 10 POINTS 10 POINTS? |
hi there i live with my landlord and to be honest i always feel on tender hooks she a clean freak, texts me is my standing order is one day late due to the weekend etc. She slags of my other housemate and hibernates to her room after work and does not really want to interact in any form or shape - i have just been to view another house sharing with some girls to rent we would all be equal tenants and its not as nice but its a home not some where i would feel i just lodged- i feel so isolated in this house even though it is nice - should i move- is it more important to have a really nice house or enjoy the people you live with??? what should i doo |

You might want to have a talk with your landlord and see if she is willing to lighten up a little and be more sociable; it surely would not hurt to ask. If she reacts in a negative way or acts like she's not been any different towards you; you might want to check out the other situation...but, make sure (if possible) that everything will be hunky dory with the girls and that everyone will be able to get along and have respect for each other. |

You can always make a house a home you can't tame a tiger.
You need to feel like you are at "home" not on egg shells.
Go for the other house it will feel like the weight was lifted off your shoulders. |

If you are unhappy now (as evidenced by posting this question on Yahoo Answers), you will continue to be unhappy. It is better to live in a corner of an attic by yourself than in a mansion with a quarrelsome person. In other words, move to a less nice house and enjoy the people you live with. You will be MUCH happier and won't regret it! |

Move out now!
It is much more important to enjoy the company.
As long as the roof doesn't leak that is (lol)
Seriously....if you feel shut out and need the company of friends, then I advise you to go for t!

Move, it's better to live in a "shack" where you're comfortable than to live in a mansion where you don't.. |

I'd move. That sort of living arrangement may be ok for a day or two but it seems more like an inn than a rental. Share a place with someone who will allow you to be you. |

It's more important to feel happy where you live. "Nice" is a relative term - nice house or nice atmosphere. What's more important to you? |

You can always make the place nice, you can't make your roommates like you. |
