A 24 hour written notice is required, unless there is an emergency situation, such as a fire or if in an apartment, a neighbor below you saying that their ceiling is leaking.
As far as selling, he can do that prior to your lease ending. Most standard leases have a clause about that. Either he can require you to vacate, under the clause, or make provision for the new owner to increase rent or have you vacate. The new owner can choose to increase your rent if they wish, but they have to give you 30 day notice. |

They have too give you 24 hours notice. I would check the law in your state about renters rights or you may be looking for a place as soon as they sell house. |

in australia (not sure where you are) they MUST give you notice that they wish to come around. you can decline if you want. and if they come over and come in without your permission it IS tresspassing. even if they own the place. |

Only if he gives you advance notice. |

He has absolutely no right whatsoever. Although he does own the place and if he gives you written notice - 24 hours minimum he can.
If he continually gets people round to view then first you must write back to complain
Although that said I am in the UK but it might be different where you are. Check it out at the local council or citizens advice bureau |

not unless they give you a 24 hour notice before hand.
He can show the house..if someone is wanting to look at it...he can't make you get out until your lease is up, but he can show it to possible buyers, but they have to give you a 24 hour notice beforehand. |
