Can property management give a 3 day to vacate property if you pay monthly rent?

In UK law you must be served in writing 28 days notice to quit.
Extreme anti-social behavior is outside of this clause, Police are the designated agency of jurisdiction for delegating in this department.

Maybe if you live outside the US but federal housing laws require a minimum 30 days notice with an opportunity to extend to 60 days.

Yes they can!

georgewash.geo
It depends on the laws in your particular state. However, with most areas, yes if the tenant has not paid.

unoon
If you did something to violate your contract, then yes 3 days is enough time. If you paid for your month and did nothing wrong, then he cant kick you out till the end of the time you paid for,

The property management can, but unless backed up by a legal court order to leave the place of abode for specific reasons stated in the suit they cannot do chit until then , but hassle you once a day with an eviction notice.Legal state and city eviction processes can take up to 30 days or if a special case 90 days.

Artman
Yes he can. Now, can he drag you out of the place without a court order or the sheriff department's help? Probably not, depending on your jurisdiction. He might even try changing the locks.

3 or 30 days at the end you will have to leave anyway so avoid drama.

You're getting evicted or they would be breaking a contract. They don't have to give you 72 hours, you're lucky.

There are many things to consider and they are:

State
Lease agreement
Contract between leesor and leesee

But, what reason do they have to give you a 3 day notice to vacate if you are paying your rent on time monthly? Or if you have some how violated the lease/agreement or as specified in your agreement?
I suppose this is none of my business.
Documents signed are legal binding remember this!
I hope this helps you out.

Good Luck!

I assume you mean, if you *don't* pay? Yes, they can. A few years ago my roommate wasn't so hot at paying the rent (in an apartment community), and we got a 3-day "pay or vacate" notice.

Depends on the terms of your lease. What does it say?

However, there are laws that protect squatters. As long as you are in the apartment, they can't forcefully remove you without risking a major lawsuit.

L
yes, if you are on a month to month rental & have no lease
