why don't you try to work out a payment plan. Even 5 or 10 a month is better than nothing. It may take awhile to pay it off but at least you or making an attempt. I have a large medical bill and I send them 25 a month and they accept it and make sure you do it every month. Do you meet the requirements to get on HUD? |

sorry i can't help you. I'm expecting money from someone, got to pay for a mobile phone that i broke (even though i didn't break it) and on top of it, get people birthday presents and start preparing from x-mas ones as well. Seems like we're all in debt at this time of year... |

oh sure, I'm sure someone is just going to give you some money to fix your credit. Get real. The only way to fix your credit is to pay off your debts a little at a time. |

Sounds like you suffer from a major case of "entitlement syndrome" - you didn't even ask someone to LEND you money - why on earth should we GIVE you something at all? |
|

Perfectly flawed.

Start by paying off your smallest debt first. |

Nobody will just give you money. Ask your family and give them a payment plan on when you repay them.
Make a budget and stick to it. See where you can cut the fat and do it.
Raising your credit score:
Pay more than the minimum balance.
Pay on time always
Get rid of high interest cards
Don't do any balance transfers or do it right at the beginning if you get a great non fee balance transfer interest rate. Only do this at the beginning as every time you do it it counts against your rating.
Pay other bills on time as well. It takes 3-7 month to clean up your credit rating. It depends on how poor you managed it in the past. If you missed payments and are maxed out on all cards it takes longer.
If you already hot in water with credit cards call them and see if they work with you. Sometimes they lower the interest rates. |

It depends on how in debt you are. If you are in severe debt, that means that all of your accounts are owned by law firms or collection agency, then the best thing you can do is save up money in the original amount of the debt. And then call up those jerks that own your acount that was orignally 3000 dollars and is now 6000 dollars. Try to negotiate a price because those people are only interested in how much they can make in one day. And if you can only give them 3000 dollars instead of the 6000 then you just saved yourself a lot of money. If they don't want to do that, then keep calling back until you get someone desparete enough to agree to that amount. After you pay off your debts you willl need to apply for credit cards with a security deposit. That way over time you can build your credit back up. |
