How am I going to get my rent @ the end of the months????.
Do you have a full time JOB or a BUSINESS???.Your mother is doing the best thing altho if she had done this form you were 6 instead
of 16 she would not have this trouble with you today and I am shore if you were close to me you would confirm what I am saying to you because I know I am correct so if you have a full time job or a Business for three years, of course you can get a
flat from me or any body Else to rent SO are you ready???? I guest not so you should start keeping your self respective to your Mother or if not she should put you out until you know how
to respect her. Al tho she should done this from you were 6 yrs
instead of 16 years. young. THAT'S ALL THE ANSWERE TO
YOUR CHICKIE QUESTION.

Simple answer: No.
You just won't be able to afford it.

Where will you get the money from?
What about food, clothes, electricity bills, gas bills, rent, student key, deposit, 3 months rent in advance, rent, furniture, TV license.
There is so much to think about, it isn't just a case of spending £400 on the rent and having £600 left to spare.

I suggest you try and make up with your mum. I know, they can be so annoying, particularly when you reach 16 and everything they do irritates you; she is trying to help you, help you to make the right decisions in life.

YOU be the bigger person, apologise to your mum, let the past stay in the past. Make it up, stay with her until you have a decent career taking off. You'll have more money and have a healthy relationship with your folks.

Good Luck.

Do you really think renting a flat will solve the problems with your mum?

i think you can but you have to have a guarantor

Classy Granny
No, you have to be 18 to enter into a legal contract such as a lease.

privately, but you will have to pay all the rent yourself and might find it too expensive.a bedsit or house share may be better for you finacialy.xx

yeah it is..but most of them are very expensive...

TS
Yes, a minor can rent however the contract is voidable, therefore most landlords will not rent to you without a guarantor.

TeKe
Not unless you have a credit history.

bright twinkle
of course you can,if you have money.

I dunno.

In the US, you can't enter in to a legal contract (eg, a lease) if you are under 18.

Aless
If you have a bank account and a full time job, then you can.

Robert G
I don't know how it is in britan, but in America you can't legaly enter a contract at 16 so you can't rent an apartment

Ellie-x
Rating
legally yes but you do need money and a landlord whos prepared to let you rent.

Marg C
Isnt there anyone you could share a place with? That would be easier or a family member or friend that could help you out its very expensive to start out at your age.

Sharon T
Not usually unless a judge has ruled you emancipated. Additionally, you will have to show a legal source of income sufficient to pay the rent and your other living expenses.

love mate bloke!
