No. Circuit City closed many of it's stores because of the sagging economy and they recently filed bankruptcy. Best Buy has not had any store closings to my knowledge.

Im still getting my daily emails from CC , got one for the 3 day sale just this morning & passed by the one down the street from me and it was still open.
Their sales are still as usual so I dont think theyll be folding any time soon.

circuity city is filing for bankruptcy and closing half the stores nationwide. eventually they will go out like good guys did a coupe of years ago.
