No. Not because of the boycott, just didn't need any. It didn't make any difference back in the late 70's. I don't think it will matter now.
Rationing with subsidies for the commercial haulers is the only real approach to this crisis. Keep the costs of deliveries down and compel people to conserve. |

It makes no difference which day you buy your gas.
But if you want to do something useful; avoid burning gas on one day each week.
You would almost certainly reduce the overall amount of gas you are burning. If many people did this the reduction in the amount of gas being burned would save people money, keep the price from rising as fast, reduce overall consumption of energy, help the environment, reduce our dependence on foreign oil, and improve our balance of payments problem. |
