I don't know where you live, but where I live the rent deposit is used for the first month you live in the property and it is illegal for a landlord to ask for anything other then the first month's rent as a deposit ahead of time. |

you should unless there is damage that you caused. if you leave the rental in good condition be sure to get plenty of pictures to prove how you left it in case landlord gives you problems |

depends if your landlord is willing to, most will not but alot has to do with the condition of the place and its usually never good enough. |

If you pay additional rent for the 10 days you are staying next month (and if that is acceptable under the owner's lease), then you should get the remainder after any unit damages are accounted for. |
