I'll be honest, I don't know all the legalities behind this, but I am pretty certain that you are able to purchase anything you wish to, provided you can pay for it. This is especially true if you happen to have a green card for USA (or a visa even?)
I hope you are planning to pay for it in full with cash or something because otherwise, the debt will catch up to you before you realize it, and then you'll be very upset.

no, u dont need citizenship of usa to buy a shop. but i do beleive that you should have a green card , otherwise how r u goingto live there and run the shop. in my opinion, the only thing is they u cant do it on a tourist visa |

Being an Indian in America, I can tell you that NO you do not need citizenship. You do need a green card, and the idiot who said you have to speak fluent English, forget him. You do need to have enough capital or money to make a sufficient down payment, and get a bank to give you a loan. If you can't get these things, you might need someone to co sign with you. Really good luck, it's hard work but it pays off in the end. Just make sure you follow all rules and regulations, and 5 years after you get your green card you can get your citizenship if you like. |
