You can get a hotel 16+ at any hotel thats not a casino as long as your parents call the office and they pay with a credit card

It depends on your job, hotel and location. Most hotels you half to be 18. Some hotels you half to be 21 or 30. If you work in the Government or in the military and you are 17 years old then you can rent out a hotel room with a government rate with supporting ID and documents.

**** You see here - everbody agrees at least 18....and the reason is for liability issues. if you damage the room or steal and of the rooms' contents, they can hold you responsible, charge the credit card and potentially take you to court...cause you are an "adult".

good luck :)

I believe you have to be 18.

I would say 18

I've never been asked for proof of age when I rent a room. I have been told I look under 18 by friends, etc. If you want to rent a room just try. If they don't let you, just go to another hotel.

Some, not all hotels require a credit card so that they can charge it for damaged incurred, so you might have trouble here.

One person said 25. What? How do you move out of state or attend two weeks of orientation for a new job after college?

In most hotels you have to be 18 and pay with a credit card otherwise you have to be 21.

I always thought it was age 25.
My theory on this was because they did not want a whole bunch a college kids coming and partying and making huge messes. I really have no idea though.

18 does sound logical being you are legally an adult at that age, but 21 is the age you could buy alcohol so I have no idea where they come up with all these age limits.

You might call your local hotel chain and ask them what their age limits are?

Genna Mariebee
Depends on the hotel. Usually you have to be 18 but sometimes it's 21. It seems like the nicer hotels have the 21 age requirement.
