I presently live in California and rent the apartment I currently live in. I have owned homes, but the upkeep got too much for me. My son is buying a house in Georgia. In the town of Athens, Georgia, there are some very good deals with the prices of homes. He bought a house for $139,000. I dont know what property values are in Ireland, but homes here in California start at $250,000. for something very small and go all the way into the millions of dollars. Oh-I'm 69 years old and am a retired nurse. Good luck with your question. |

yes, sounds strange, but when i had a rental and he moved in, we split everything "household" 50-50, so when he purchased this house, the only fair thing to do was to continue our arrangement as i didn't have funds to purchase our home with him. |
