In my area the council have a quite a lot of 4 and 5 bed roomed houses built in the seventies
if possible every child has the right to it's own bedroom |

If it is financially within your reach, then why not? |

Yes, absolutely. There is nothing worse than having guests from away and you have no spare room to make them comfortable in.
Besides which, these days much time is spent indoors at the PC and one needs a study for this really. |

No not at all. I can only afford to buy a 2 bedroom house and I consider myself lucky to have a roof over my head. It's a struggle though. I don't need anymore rooms than that because I can't afford to have more children. If more people thought like me then we wouldn't have so many people expecting to be housed by the council. Too much is given to people on a plate. Be grateful for what you've got. There's no pride in the people of this country anymore - it's all "take take take". If you want a bigger house get a better paid job and buy one! |

I think if its a council house then no not really it depends nothing says 2 children can't share unless you have problems with their genders and ages even then 4-5 rooms should be fine. I think to have anymore than that is too demanding from the council who are trying as hard as possible just to put people into houses. You get a bigger house if u pay for it.... |

Double expenditures all round - makes no sense at all. |

Only for people who can afford to pay for it themselves. If the tenants are utilising a state facility then no, they should stop having children until they can afford to support them all themselves.
Edit: hmm, thumbs down? You people are happy to pay for someone else's family then?! |

Yes of course we need 4 and 5 bedroom houses in this day and age, if not more. Its not a problem outside of london but there isnt much space in london for new big houses. |

NO-No matter what. If you have a big family you are already using resources that are adding too much of a burden to the environment. So stop now and think about what you are doing-Do we need Hummers on the road? I know they are pretty cool but, do we really need them? NEED is relative. You see? So no I don't agree we NEED 4-5 bedroom houses. |

Only in places where people are uneducated about birth control .
But most of those are also too uneducated in general
to have good incomes and can't afford a 2 bedroom , let alone a 4 to 5 .
