Free furniture? Drive down the streets and check if anyone else is throwing away furnitures, then pick those up. Refinish them if you need to.

If you live in UK go on Gumtree (internet site) under miscellaneous look for "freebies". Make sure you have selected area that you want. |

Check out www.craigslist.org <= click on your area, and in the for sale section, you should see a section for "Free". You can find decent stuff on here, but it takes alot of time and effort, and sometimes this stuff goes really fast! |

storage companies get lots of furniture and kitchen goods left behind when people move out.I think that when they're loading up the van they have second thoughts about taking certain items to their new home and tend to just leave it behind.From personal experience i collected a 12 month old gas cooker and a fridge freezer with a slight dent in the side.Both work perfectly well and the company was glad for me to take them off their hands. |
