Does anybody know any companies that will come in to your house to pack and move your stuff to your new home?

Most moving companies will do this. Of course, you have to pay for it.

Just break out the ol' yellow pages and start calling.

Almost all removal companies do, but it's not a great idea.

I've had really bad experiences with this ... e.g. once we had a large, 4-bedroom home completely full of stuff, and they turned up at almost 3:00pm on the day that we were moving to start packing, so clearly not allowing enough time ... another time I had already gone on to the new property, leaving my mother at the old place with the movers, and they told her they were done and drove off. She then walked into a bedroom to find it half full of stuff ... luckily she had an estate car so could chuck most of it in, but this meant that she had to take out plants that she'd already put in and then go back for them another time ... also stuff often goes missing.

I would let them pack up stuff that they can't damage like linens, and stuff that you wouldn't be that bothered about if it did go missing (i.e. no sentimental value and only a small monetary cost) like kitchen equipment. Pack your own personal possessions yourself.

Most moving companies do this. United does this, I know, but it's not cheap at all.

Biker Crazy

Most of the companies will come in and move your stuff out, but you have to pack it ahead of time.

Medium Dave
If you live in Liverpool, the natives do that for free.

The only downside is that the home they move it to tends to be theirs, not yours...
