I would not think so. It is just an inexpensive accessory.
The MLS does not even have an entry space for a screen door, I do not think it is something that is considered worth thinking about in real estate. |

No. Such an addition is a very minor change, costing only a few hundred dollars, at best. No one is going to pay you more for a house because it has a screen door. |

Yes, any improvement you do to a property will increase it's markety value. Ummm...don't expect much of a value though...its only a screen door...it's not like you added an extra room or remodeled the kitchen and bathrooms or landscaped the yards. It's a screen door...if you paid $100 for that screen door expect that property value to increase by $100 but you have to add in depreciation of that screen door for every month and year that goes by. So basically if it's a 1 yr old consider the depreciation to be...and i'm probably being generious on this...to be 1/2 so $50. |
