The less things you have around makes the house look bigger. Try to put away as much as you can. It is known the house will sell faster the neater it looks. Too many pictures or things can make a house cluttered. Good luck in your sale. |

Depends on what you mean by "decorated". If you mean professionally staged to look like a model home-- a staged home always looks better and sells faster.
But a vacant home will sell faster than someone who really put their own 'style' on a home becuase that does not appeal to everyone. |

I just bought a condo, since it had nothing in there it was listed as immediate vacancy so I didn't have to wait for the previous owners to move out. It is much more tempting for people to walk into a house and think "wow, I could just drop my stuff off". So go very empty. |

hmmmm oky,
In general, who want to buy a house ( as who want to buy his/her dream), which mean they want to buy the house they always dream to buy it, and that dream will not be completed without their own design.
Ask who ever if he/she dream to buy house, what is the look like of that house?
They will tell you (big house etc) + plus (they will explaining how he planing to decorate their dream.)
But, its very important to know that they want to see your decorate ( I mean old decoration ) ... .
As I think 70% will change the old decoration, but also its important for them to see the old.
You also have 30% to find who want to buy it without change anything.
Finally ( as a joke) , if there is a women with the buyer he will change everything. He will tell you he want to buy without decoration.
But if he is alone ( men are really don't need extra headache ) he will say okyyyyyy its very suitable for me :). |

A furnished house sells more quickly. Just make sure it is clean and uncluttered. |

I would say that the home should be furnished but uncluttered..especially the Living room area. Bedrooms are Ok to be empty because they will look alot bigger. |

Either empty or professionally furnished (staged) - if you keep your own stuff - get rid of family pictures, trinkets, clutter. Take magnets & stuff off the fridge, clear off countertops. |
