you can get a mortgage with anyone! as long as they earn enough to get the loan
Be warned though, they will nned to move to the property (on paper) or they'll face capital gains tax, owning 2 houses.
maybe they could part own it on a minority scale, say 75% to 25%. You can get independant mortgage advice at the mortgage advise centre. |

Yes. This is often done by first time home buyers. You can jointly purchase the home. For example, you might own a 60% share and your parents may own the other 40%. As your wages go up, you may buy your parents out (if they want their investment back) and do a title change on the deed. |

Get a house that does not need repairs, how are you ever going to fix anything if you can`t even get on the ladder. |

It can help, but if you can get the loan with them as co-signers it would be better. That way, you are building your own credit and not theirs. If you are on the loan and they are on it as well, unless they are co-signers it is not building your credit up as well. Talk to a loan agent about it. They will explain it in more detail. |

Yes, but not exactly as you desribe.
If you don't have enough money to get the normal mortgages from the bank you can ask about 100% mortgages, then you can get one or both of your parents to sign an agreement with the bank that they will pay any installments that you can't.
The bank will then be able to pay for your house while you slowly and steadilly pay them back forever more, and they are safe in the knowledge that if you can't pay then your parents will have to. |

Well you can do a joint mortgage with your parents on both the deed and the mortgage. It won't be a second; it'll be a first on a different property. Legally anyway,
Up to a bank to decide if this is a good risk for them. |

You can get anyone you like to help you get on the housing ladder. Just remember though that when they do, they also share in the ownership of the home you buy. That is, it will not be entirely yours. The lending organisation also has a stake in your home - they can 'repossess' it if you fail to keep up with the payments. In plain language - any home you buy with a mortgage is not yours until you have paid off the entire loan. Your parents may be willing to increase the mortgage on their own property in order to give you a lump sum to put down as a deposit on a property, (the easiest solution), or if they join with you to take an additional mortgage on a new property they will have to provide the same amount of evidence of income/financial capacity as you. They may not be prepared to do that. They will also expose themselves to additional tax burdens. If buying means paying considerably more than what you would pay in rent then there is not much point in trying to burden yourself with home ownership. |

yes they can do a Home Equity Line of Credit to help you with down payment.
However they have to qualfiy, just like you do, with good credit & income, enough to show the bank that they can afford 2 house payments. or at least 1.5 house payments, since you'd also be going on the loan & your income will also factor in.
You should start to talk to a Direct Mortg. Lender or a larger bank & have them run your credit & your parents & do a full application with them. |

Hmmm.. it could be hard to have two mortgagaes .. why dont you get them to help you with the deposit and then you can have the mortgage in their name .. if you fail to repay its ur mum and dad who will be affected and not you and you dont wanna do that ... !! |
