You might look at your renters contact.
Better yet just fix it yourself. Go to the hardware store tell them about the problem and they will get you stuff you need to make the repair.
The hardest part will be painting the repaired portion of wall the match the original color.
Easiest solution............. hang a picture over the hole! |

You can go to the hardware store and buy a patch kit. It's basically a piece of screen (sometimes cardboard) and a piece of string. It may or may not come with a small tub of spackle. You use the string to hold the backing in place, then apply spackle to fill the hole. When the spackle is dry, you cut the string and lightly sand the spot. Then paint to match if you need too. For small (nail) holes, a white toothpaste works well. |

You could get charged,... I mean, you should prolly have them fix it, because in the end they will see that there was some damages... unless you can really fill in the hole, sand it down good and find the same colored paint... Good luck! |

Do it yourself ...its easy and they sell patch kits at home depot.
You can repair holes and cracks in your walls in just a few easy steps. If your walls have holes from previous wall hangings or someone accidentally made a hole with a doorknob, you needn't fret anymore.

Yes, you will get charged. A hole in the wall is really easy to fix.. just go to Ace Hardware or Home Depot and ask the customer service person in that dept. to assist you will supplies. It's a simple task, assuming it's as small of a hole as you say and no other structural damage has been done, you just add tape (wall covering type) and then spackle over it, then paint over it. That's it. Best Wishes! |

I guess it depends who the "someone" is. Holes in the wall are NOT normal wear and tear. Management will definitely charge you to fix the hole.
As someone said earlier it is so easy to fix just do it yourself.
First- Buy some premixed interior Spackle (DAP is a good brand.)
Second- Spread the Spackle and let it dry, sand if needed to match wall texture.
Third - Paint the area where the hole was and no one will ever know the hole was there. |

where is everybody?

if it was done while you were renting-yes you fix it or it will be charged one way or another. holes from pictures, etc. are considered normal wear and tear. i would charge the person who did it. if it was done before you rented it should have been documented and they fix it. |

If you can prove it was there when you moved in, No. You can fix it with plaster of pairs by putting a piece of stiff cardboard a little larger than the hole behind it and using Sheetrock screws to hold it in place till the mud sets. |

You should let manager know, it is probably their responsibility. |

Let the apartment fix it. They should have before you moved in. You should not get charged for it-if you didnt do it and it was there before you moved in. |

Let them fix it - normal wear and tear.
If you fix it - they'll charge you when you move out. |
