I have to deal with construction...not even at my own house! My friend is getting construction on her house....and i'm pet sitting for her cat because she and her family took a trip to France! the construction workers are creepy and give me WEIRD vibes because i am just a 13 year old girl and i have to go to my friends house to petsit! (we live near eachother so i can ride my bike over there...) the wokers are sooo annoying...the cat eats/litterbox/stays in the basement and she likes to go upstairs. my friend put a sign on the door saying "Please Don't Close This Door!" in legible handwriting. They still closed the door! so i told them not to keep it open (nicely) and today i literally walk in and there is a huge plastic wrap over the door and where they are working! How am i supposed to get down there?! so i walked back outside and went through the outside entrance to their basement....which the workers will probably close and lock and i don't have a key to open that door. i am going back to take care of the cat but i just need some advice
What should i do?
also how to get rid of creepy-ness from workers?

Would your mom or dad go with you? Maybe if you explained to them the trouble you are having with them not honoring your instructions they could intervene and even call the company if necassary |

They are clearly not taking you seriously since you are a kid. You need to take an adult over with you and explain what they need to do to make sure you can take care of the cat. Have the adult explain that they will be held responsible (not sure how but I'm sure the cat owner would come up with something) if the cat cannot be taken care of properly due to their actions. Some people just don't care about any given situation until it effects them. |
