Elby J | How Often is Rent due for an apartment? |
I am currently looking up the prices for the rent of apartments of where I am moving eventually and I am wondering how often the rent is payed.
There is a place that is $1000 rent. now i am not sure if that would be daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly.
Under the 'details' for it it says "Lease terms: 11.5 MONTHS "
So im assuming its $1000 for 11.5 months..
Thanks a ton for helping!! |

yea its monthly. you might wanna find a roomate to split the cost. |

More then likely it means $1000.00 PER MONTH. The .5 will probably be half off the $1000.00 for half of the month. |

No, your wrong. It's a $1000 per month for 11.5 months You pay a 1000 every month, usually due on the 1st. Some landlord allow a 5 day grace period before charging a late fee |

Generally rent is listed per month,, so I'd assume $1000 per month. . . .
Usually rental term, lease term is one year, but could be 11.5 months.
Terms of lease are negotiable between Landlord and Tenant. |

Rent is due every month. The add you are referring to is 1000.00 every month for the length of time being 11.5 months. I don't know where this is but that sounds awfully high for rent only I would inquire what comes with that Water? Garbage? Cable? And why 11.5 months? usually a lease runs anywhere from 6 months to a year and you have to pay 1st months rent and a deposit before you move in or sometimes 1st and last months rent plus deposit. |

It's monthly. Rent is almost always paid monthly. Some places charge weekly, but these are usually residence hotels, SROs, and scary dumps. |

Most places charge monthly. I pay my rent ($595) on or before the 5th of every month. |

ITS FOR SURE MONTHLY AND 11.5 MONTHS IS YOUR LEASE..WHICH MEANS ON CONTRACT YOU HAVE LEASED THE APARTMENT FOR 11 1/2 MONTHS. USUALLY AFTER YOUR LEASE YOU HAVE AN OPTION TO PAY JUST MONTH TO MONTH IF YOU PLAN TO STAY. HOWEVER, IF YOU DECIDE ON MOVING BEFORE YOUR LEASE IS UP YOU HAVE TO PAY THE MONTHLY RENT OF $1000 FOR THE REMAINING OF YOUR LEASE TERM. EVEN IF YOU NO LONGER LIVE THERE. I HATE LEASES THEY SUCK ***. |
