HM land registry but I believe they charge for this.

Research your County Appraisal District, easily online. You can normally do a search on Yahoo as "County" CAD, e.g. I live in Travis County, Texas. You would want to search: Travis CAD (CAD standing for County Appraisal District.) Each county (if it's large enough) will have a tax roll and show the year's appraisal for each property. Shouldn't have any problems, unless you live in a relatively small county that doesn't have easy capabilities to internet or web designs.

I think this is found in public records. Try the local tax collector.

Check with the land registry. I think there's a search fee - not sure how much.

Go to the web site of the county the home is located and input the address in search. Your answer should come up along with the tax assesment and date last sold and amount sold for
