One of the fastest ways to get cash with bad credit, and little hassle, would be with a payday loan. Yes they have terrible interest rates but they are taking a risk. This site offers more details about the payday loans as well as various sites offering the loans, many without even a credit check. Do your homework. Best starting point is here:

Good luck.

Here's a great site that is based on other people lending you money and it is much lower interest. Hope this helps.

try a mortgage broker ( don't know if they have them in Ca.) instead of a mtg. co. - a broker will shop for you to find a deal, usually can find a loan easier for you and in places a conventional co. won't bother looking - they take a chunk of the deal as commission but usually not upfront. OR have you tried to get a "no income verification " mortgage, they don't check your finances, credit history etc. but you DO pay a much higher interest rate.....if you can get one that doesn't have a prepay penalty then it really doesn't matter if the rate is higher, you won't be bearing the weight for the entire life of the loan anyway, because you can refi down the road, or if you are selling the property will get out from the high interest rate. best of luck to you

A lot of banks will want to wait at least 1-4 years after the forclosure to loan.
