I live in Ct. The same here. Maybe Sect 8. Move in with someone you trust and get along with. But maybe staying with your parents may not be so bad for awhile or at least until your finical situation improves....... Just remember your daughters safety comes first. Depending on your financial status(how much you earn and receive in child support from your daughters father if any) you and your daughter may qualify for rent assistance or possibly free rent that can make a apartment affordable.Contact the local "dss" department of social service office (it should be in the blue pages section of your phone book) to get the process started.You may have to jump through a few hoops (figuratively) during the process but you and your daughter should be able to get out on your own eventually. |
