If it was listed with a real estate agent. Call one of the 10,000 agents in your area. Give them an address and say this home just sold. What did it sale for?
They go like this... *click* *click* *click* and they say 249,500. It it wasnt listed on the MLS. You will never find out unless they tell you.

Many states have the PVA's (Property Valuation Administrator) website online that you can access. Otherwise, you will see the transfer of sale in the local paper, or you can go to your county's clerk office and look it up there. Sale prices and transfers are considered public and can be accessed by anyone. The other answers refer to real estate sites that show an appraised value, or what the house was listed for, not the actual sale price. The actual price is only found in the above 3 places. |

there are alot of websites that will give you this information but you have to fill stuff out, time consuming. i think the tax assessor has this information and sometimes it is published in the newspapers in a section on real estate. recent sales they post, at least around here. |
