look in your local newspaper. there are many landlords that list their places in the newspaper and they dont require references or security checks. so that would probably be your best bet with that on your record! and if you were only evicted from another place that is not counted towards bad credit. Unless it was because you didnt pay your rent and they sent it into a collection agency. So with the info that you have listed I answered to the things i would check first.

Typically when your credit is checked for an apartment they should just be checking for eviction status. However you should try to go directly through the owner. Meet he/she personally and be honest & up front if they are doing a credit check. You may need a co-signer

You might be able to if you have a co-signer

Maybe you could rent a house from a private owner vs. a managed apartment complex.

try for an apartment owned by a small company- they usually make their decisions to rent in-office- instead of through credit bureaus. good luck

You have to rent from a landlord that doesnt do credit checks. Unfortuately, these landlords dont have very nice apartments, and they are usaully in the slums. But there are exceptions to the rule, you have to look around, and ask people that you know if they know anybody that will rent to you.

Have you every been evicted Bad credit can be over looked it depend on what bills you got behind on If you always payed your rent on time you have a good shot at renting a place

Your best bet would be seeing if you can find a co-signer. One of your parents or grandparents may be able to do that.

What it is - is if for some reason you don't pay your rent the co-signer is legally responsible for the back rent as well. So this person will have to be someone close to you that knows you will not default on the rent.

Get a cosigner, if not see if your parents or relatives can help you get the lease under their names, but you have to promise them to behave yourself and won't get evicted again!!!lol
good luck!!!

Companies, even ones that have you fill out a "credit app" are not looking at your credit score, but your debt to income ratio. As long as that shows you can afford the amount of rent, you are usually approved.
