$1000 in 2 days is $62.50 an hour. Unless you have a car to sell, it doesn't seem possible for someone on disability to do with out some seedy or illegal activity. |

OK, I had a friend do this once in college, but it is a stretch in 2 days. Sort of a take on the risky business party.
He held a huge party, told people to bring $10 and a pot luck item, he would provide the venue. He put away everything breakable and of value, then basically opened his house up to the public. He bought a half keg of beer (and had to go out to buy more), and a few boxes of wine. Some people brought their own booze if they wanted something else to drink.
It was a great party, loads of fun, he got a buddy to DJ it, and he made almost $3,000.
His house was trashed, took an entire day to clean it, but it was still worth it to him.
Ebay can be done, but unlikely you can do it in 2 days. You would have to make all your items BINs, and unless you have another way to get the money, it takes paypal 3-5 days to send you a check when you request it.
If you have a bunch of items you can sell, try Craigslist. It is free and regionalized.
