My dad has found a lot of jobs that want him. So thats not a problem. Now the only problem left is how long its going to take for this house to sell. Really, really safe neighborhood. Its in good location. Everyone old lives here so I think that would attract elders to come here don't you think? Since theirs no noise at all.
Nothing ever has happened in the 8 years I've lived here. House is in good condition. We're going to fix the small parts that are cracked too. & fix up one of the bathrooms probably. & yes the price isn't too high or too low its just the right amount.
So would it sell by this August or September if we put it up for market around June? |

The current housing market is okay if you are selling
Most people are in the buy low sell high mentality
I have known houses that sold within 6 months and some that are still on the market from last summer! I wish I could give you a better answer ... but it just all depends. |

Yes, if it is priced correctly. What we are finding in Minnesota in alot of places, are the homes sales prices are settling around tax assessed values and below. So if that is where your home is priced, you stand a pretty good chance of it selling.

That would be optimistic. You put it on, it sells in a month or two and then the closing is another month or two. It could take 6 months |

A long shot at the best if priced to sell, last number came out from the Fed's: houses sit on the market for average 9.7 months, there are more homes for sale then any other time in the past 28 years |

It depends on the pricing. If you price it above market value, it will sit around for quite a while before someone wants it enough to make an offer. If you price it ten percent below market value, you can probably sell it in a week. Use zillow.com to get a good estimate of market value. |

It could, but this is a really bad time for people to buy a house, and they know that because they see it in every paper and magazine they open. I think the elderly would be even more apprehensive to buy a house at this time, with social security in the state that its in, with so many companies denying benefits to their retired employees. It is possible, but you may not be able to get what you want for the house... |
