the absolute minimum is about 6 weeks, if there are no problems
I have no idea why it takes this long, but that really is about the minimum |

It can be done very quickly - a matter of days. That's unlikely - a matter of a few weeks is normally considered a fast turnaround. |

id say 4-6 weeks. the solicitors need to do all the paperwork, land checks legal checks etc plus mortgage companies etc. |

The entire transaction shouldn't take more than 2 months for a public housing and 3 months for private. |

The quickest I have known is a day - the seller already had all the searches done and the buyer had cash.
Normally it takes a between 1 and 3 months. |

it should go in less than 2 days, especially if you have a cash buyer and all the papers and encumberances of the deal was already ironed out before the closing day or maybe less. |

In theory it should take as long as it takes for the money to get transfered from one bank to another. But in the real world solicitors like to make a big song and dance of it and they drag it on and you'd be lucky if it's done in a month. I watched a TV reality show once and they completed the whole thing in under 24 hours. |

it can take 8 weeks |

can be done in less than 2 weeks provided you keep up behind everyone and you have a modern solicitor and not an old cogger who still think a conveyance must take 6/8 weeks and longer |

these days with electronic searches it doesnt take long.on average because the solicitor doesnt work fast about 6 weeks but it could be done quicker |

As long as it takes for solicitor to sort out the deeds, around 6 weeks id say
Good luck with the house move :-) |

If you have a cash buyer well done. You now need to make the system run freely and not delay in any way.
This means not adding anyone in to the chaine i.e. The house you intend to buy. |

If you have a cash buyer it can be done in a matter of a couple days.....they will need an inspection at least.
Once you already have a buyer, normally people set up 30 ,60 or 90 day closings along with a starting period of about 10 days for contract negotiations.
So it can be anywhere from 40-100 days for most people. But, if you have a cash buyer and everyone is ready to go it can be done in a week or less. |
